On June 12 at 6:00 pm there will be a celebration for our 8th graders called 8th Grade Promotion. This ceremony is a chance to recognize our 8th graders for their accomplishments this year and to celebrate the end of their middle school years. After a brief awards ceremony there will be an ice cream social to cap off the night.

Senior Spotlight! David Tuttle will be going to the University of Maine in Orono for Engineering. He is most looking forward to new opportunities and new friends to make along the way. His favorite memory from high school was going to Boston to visit different colleges and go to the Celtics game. His activities in high school include Student Council (11, 12), Prom Committee (11), Can We (11), Soccer (10, 11), Wrestling (9, 10, 11, 12), and Tennis (10, 12). Congratulations, David!

NOTE FROM THE NURSE: Well, I never thought we'd get to this weather this year! With the heat forecast for the next couple of days, PLEASE send your child to school with a water bottle and encourage them to drink often! Also, if they carry their own inhalers, make sure they are taking them each day. The air quality is projected to be bad for the rest of the week, thanks to the wildfires in Canada.
