Our first SENIOR SPOTLIGHT of the year! Wyatt Johnson has enlisted with the U.S. Army. His high school activities included Wrestling (9, 10, and 11). His favorite memory of high school was getting away with talking during classes his freshman year, and he is most looking forward to going to Texas where he will be stationed. Congratuations, Wyatt!

The final week in January for Pirate athletics

Due to the winter storm warning issued for Sunday night through Monday, school will be canceled tomorrow, Monday, January 25th. Stay warm and be safe.

Our 7th and 8th-grade Science students are busy preparing for maple tapping season. From trees to taps, they’re learning the science behind Maine’s sweetest tradition. Pirate Maple Syrup will be flowing this spring. Stay tuned!

Girl's B BASKETBALL Team is having a potluck banquet on Thursday January 22 @ 5:30pm in the elementary cafeteria!

Spring sports season is just around the corner! Briana Martell, FNP, from Northern Light, will be at both schools to offer sports physicals at no cost to any 5th-12th grader in need. Forms can be obtained from each office, or printed and returned as soon as possible. Please make sure forms are back by 2/12 so Briana can plan her time away from her office efficiently. Forms received after 2/12 are not guaranteed to be done. If you have any questions you can call or email Mrs. Viera at 876-1363 or wviera@sad4.org. If your student has had a physical in the past year, their PCP can fax a clearance notice to 876-4291.

The boys Varsity basketball game that was scheduled for tonight at Schenck will now be played on Tuesday, January 27th at 6:30pm.

Out of an abundance of caution for the return trip home, Tonights boys varsity basketball game at Schenck has be postponed. The make up date is TBD.

Good luck to the varsity wrestling team as they head to their meet in Bucksport this evening. Brady Ball continues to move towards the 100 win milestone!

Lots of action on the road for the Pirates this week. Some big games/ meets, and Brady Ball is inching ever closer to the 100 win mark in wrestling. Go Pirates!

Today's varsity Wrestling meet @ Ellsworth has been moved to tomorrow. Same time 4pm weigh in, 5pm start. There will be no Varsity wrestling practice today.

The Boys A team will travel to Penquis for a playoff game on Friday at 3:30.
