Due to the Literacy Night at PCES as well as the wet conditions on the fields, Middle School softball practice is cancelled for this afternoon, 4/16.
Today's Tennis match at Dexter has been canceled. The teams will now play split doubleheaders as a make up.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! Arianna Crosby will be attending the University of Maine to major in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Her high school activities include Positive Action Team (9, 10, 11), National Honor Society (10, 11, 12), Pirate Volunteer Club (9, 10, 11, 12), Student Council (9, 10, 11, 12), Can We? (10), Prom Committee (11, 12), Field Hockey (9, 10, 11), Basketball (9, 10), and Tennis (9, 10, 11, 12). Her favorite memory from high school is winning Northern Maine Regionals during her junior year of tennis and she is most excited about meeting new people. Congratulation, Anna!





Molly Goodwin will be heading to New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire where she will be studying criminal Justice, and playing Field hockey for the Pilgrims. Molly was joined by her parents Walter and Tanya, and PCHS Field Hockey coach Emily Wilson.
Noah Kain will be heading down the road to Husson University in Bangor, where he will be studying Business Administration, and playing Baseball for the Eagles. Noah was joined by his parents Brian and Amanda, and Dexter/ PCHS co-op Baseball coach Chad Graffam.
Noah and Molly have been consistent examples of hard work and dedication during their years at PCHS. We would like to thank Noah, Molly and their families for the examples they have set. Congratulations to you both!





Well, maybe not with the weather quite yet, but those trees and grasses are shedding pollen! If your student suffers from seasonal allergies, now is the time to consider resuming their antihistamines if needed.
This is also the time where asthmatics get stirred up. Please make sure inhalers are not expired, and if your student self-carries an inhaler, that he/she is doing so. The need for an inhaler can quickly turn into an emergency situation if a child is struggling and one isn't available. If you have any questions, let me know!

Practice schedule for this week. Middle school sports begin Monday. MS baseball practice, and MS softball tryouts/ practice will be held in the PCES gym. MS Track will be outside on the track. HS practices will resume the normal schedule.
The full schedule for the months of April, May, and June is live on the school website. This has all the games and meets for PCMS and PCHS sports, as well as the Dexter/ PCHS Co-op baseball games.
