Tomorrow's boys game at Greenville and Saturday's game at Bangor Christian have been canceled. The Greenville game will be made up on Tuesday. October 19. The BC game will not be made up.
Today's Field Hockey game home vs Dexter has been postponed until Monday, October 18.
Today's Middle School boys soccer game home vs Sedomocha has been canceled and will not be made up.
Due to the lights not being ready, there will be only one game tomorrow. The PCHS boys soccer team will play host to Greenville at 4:15.
The PCSS picture day has been rescheduled for December 7, 2021. This change was due to a staffing shortage at Lifetouch.
WEEKEND BACKPACK PROGRAM
SAD4 participates in a weekend backpack program in which we partner with the local food pantry to provide a backpack full of food to families to help stretch the food budget over the weekends. Each participant receives a non-descript backpack that will go home with them each Friday. As long as it is returned by Tuesday of the following week, it will be refilled, or filled whenever it returns. If you are interested in having your child(ren) participate in this program, please email me at wviera@sad4.org and let me know. It is offered at both schools.

Congratulations to all three PCHS teams for their Homecoming wins today. Congratulations to the middle school teams for their successful wins yesterday. The boys soccer team won and the girls soccer and field hockey teams both tied their games yesterday. Go Pirates!
Congrats to PCHS Girls soccer for a 3-0 victory over Lee on homecoming Saturday. Arianna Fanjoy scored first off an assist from Kendall Kimball. Kendall then added a goal of her own off an assist from Molly Sipple. Grace Buehne scored the final goal of the game off an assist from Abbey Ricker. Go Pirates!
Positive COVID Cases.
Parent's traveling through Lincoln for any games in Lincoln or Lee, there will be a detour right at the four corners. The main st. is shut down so you will have to go straight through the four corners and it will bring you out to the Monument in town. I understand that you can get to McDonald's on the way back as you back track back to the four corners. You just can't drive all the way through town. If this has changed, I have yet to hear that it has.
This is just a reminder that if your child is put into quarantine due to an exposure, he/she cannot test out of it, per CDC guidelines.

Another tough loss for PCHS Girls soccer vs Central today. (7-0) The final score seldom tells the entire story, and even though this season has been far more difficult than any of us anticipated, I am extremely proud of how the girls have handled the many twists and turns thus far. From having different lineups every game due to teammates being out, being shut down for a week, having to play with little to no substitutions every game, and having to play banged up, we are certainly dealing with our fair share of obstacles as a team. However, I still see effort, I see improvement, i see individuals stepping into roles they didn't expect to be in, and I'm seeing more and more "team first" mentality. To quote one of the girls at the end of the game today, "even if we are losing, im still having fun." What a great example of positivity for us all. Looking forward to a couple days to rest up before homecoming weekend. Go Pirates!
