PCSS Athletics Spectator Protocols Now that the state executive order has been changed, spectators will now be permitted to be present at all PCSS and PCMS athletic activities. In order for PCHS/PCMS to host athletic events, the Governors/MDOEC Community Sports Guidelines must still be followed to ensure the safety of all spectators and game participants while at any of our athletic fields. Please view the following instructions below for spectators: * Fans must use designated areas for the event they are attending. Viewing areas will be marked and portable bathrooms will be at each venue. The bathrooms in the school will not be available. * Spectators MUST BE MASKED AT ALL TIMES. —Fully vaccinated individuals does not preclude them from this rule. * Spectators must maintain a 6 foot space while attending the event unless they reside in the same household or are family members. * Spectators will be distanced from all players, coaches, and officials. * There will be either white lines or white circles that will designate areas between events to keep people separated and safe. If there is an X, with two white lines on either side, no one is permitted in that area. A single white X represents a spot for one individual. Baseball *Parking will be available along the road and at the third baseline fence for the home team. Visitors will be designated along the 1st baseline fence. If there is no tennis match, spectators can park in the parking lot. It is recommended that parents stay around their own vehicles. *If a spectator chooses to sit or stand outside of their vehicle, you must have a mask on. If you are sitting inside your car, you don’t. *A portable toilet will be available *Spectators will not be able to sit behind home plate as that is where we plan on putting the athletes that can’t fit in the dugout. This area will be roped off. *A porta potty will be available Softball *No vehicles will be allowed to park outback on the grass in right center. The ground is too soft. *Parking will be available in the school parking lot *A portable toilet will be accessible at some point in time. It may not be available until Friday, April 30. *Visiting spectators will be seated from right field to center field, behind the fence along the hillside. *Home spectators will be seated in left field behind the fence and on the hill. There will be 6 foot circles painted on the ground and 6 foot white lines along the outfield fence. At no time should a parent go near the team area for any sport. All players, coaches, and spectators are to wear their masks 100% of the time while at our sporting events, whether as a spectator or simply picking your child up after a scheduled practice. Team Drop Off Areas and Parking Baseball and Tennis *Drop off for tennis will be at the tennis courts on the backside (Riverside) of the court as this will be your team area. *Drop off for baseball will be in the parking lot along the 1st baseline. *A porta potty will be available by the dugouts. Softball *Drop off for the visiting team should be in front of the school where you will enter the field from the 1st base line. *The home team needs to be at their dugout before the visiting team arrives. If not possible, both teams should not be walking down to the field together. Dugout situation: For both baseball and softball, at least 9 individuals can be in our dugouts at one time. The benches will be clearly marked with spots 6 feet apart. There will also be chairs in there as well and they must remain on the spots as found. When a team is up to bat, the non starters will be outside the dugouts, sitting or standing in designated spots. When your team is in in the outfield, the non starters can enter the dugouts.

State requirements for returning to school after travel: New England states are the only states exempt from travel quarantine. If you travel to any of these states, your child can return to school upon return as long as he/she passes the daily screening. If you travel to any other state, you must present a negative PCR or antigen test for your child to the nurse prior to attending OR they need to complete a ten day quarantine. Test results can be faxed to 876-4291 or emailed to wviera@sad4.org. It would be helpful for secretaries and teachers to know if you choose the ten day option. Please inform the school if you do. Enjoy your vacation!

Eric Odgen will be here on Wednesday, April 14th, to take our team pictures. Coaches will be adjusting their practice schedules according to the schedule below. It's never an easy day but we will make the best of it. The order of which team goes first is simply an order, as Eric could be done quicker than what the start time states for each team. Please have your teams ready 15 minutes prior to your scheduled picture time. All pictures will be taken in the high school gym. Order forms will be emailed to all parents from Eric.
