PCSS wants to thank PURITAN for their financial assistance to honor our seniors with the graduation banners that have been put up in town. Puritan's thoughtful gift will allow the posting of these banners to be an annual event. Thanks for your support!!

Despite Warsaw being undefeated this season, our PCMS girls gave them a run for their money in the semi-finals playoff game this afternoon. Not only did we score in the first inning, but we held them scoreless for the first three innings, before coming up with a loss against them. The girls played extremely well this season and some even surprised themselves with their accomplishments on the field today compared to early April. It has been an honor to watch them grow in skill and confidence and develop/enhance their character this season. Great job, girls! And thank you to the parents for all your support this season!

Congratulations to the PCMS girls on their 11-2 quarter-final win against Penquis this morning. We are so proud of them. They’ve been playing well all year and today was no exception. They came ready to play, worked together as a team, and beat the team that beat them twice this season. We will play in the semi-finals at Warsaw on Tuesday afternoon, 4:00! Congratulations, also to the PCMS boys on their 7-5 win against Penquis this morning as well!

Yesterday the Middle School track team had another successful meet at FA. It was a great day with all athletes improving and many hitting new personal bests. Some of athletes who won their events are Timothy MacNeil in shot put, Jonathan MacNeil in race walk, and Emily Saulmer in both the 100 and 200 m dash. Some great showings included Sadie Mae Kelley with 2nd place in High Jump, Gavin Gilbert with 2nd place in high jump, and Landon McKenney with 2nd place in the 400m dash. I am very excited that our girl's relay team of Kaelyn Bussel, Taylor Herrick, Sadie Mae Kelley, and Emily Saulmer came in 2nd! This is no small achievement. Thursday next week is our last meet and I can't wait to see what these athletes will do!
