Early Dismissal -
Good morning, this is Superintendent MacFadyen. Today, November 16th we will have an early dismissal due to an expected mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet later in the afternoon. School will be dismissed at 11:30 am and there will be no Afterschool activities. If you have any questions, please call the school office.

Active Shooter Hoax-
You may have heard reports about multiple active shooter threats this morning. At this time these reports are a hoax. I am in contact with local law enforcement and the DOE and will keep you updated as necessary.
Respectfully,

The PCSS Camden Conference course hosted Andreas Waldkirch, Mitchell Family Professor and Chair of the Economics Department at Colby College, for a guest lecture on 11-07-2022. His talk, "Why is Free Trade Controversial?" explored Maine and the United States' economic relationships to the broader world and also offered potential solutions for increased prosperity in the future.
Students asked pointed questions and were consummate ambassadors of SAD 4. We are grateful for Professor Waldkirch's time and willingness to meet our students in-person.

ATTENTION PARENTS:
If your student has a new piercing, ears or elsewhere, please have him/her do the cleaning at home. It is typically suggested to be done three times a day. Before school, after school and bed time are adequate times. They should NOT be missing class time to care for a piercing...unless it's infected and needs to be evaluated and managed by me. Feel free to contact me directly as I don't check Facebook often.
Thank you.
