On March 22 at 6:00pm in the PCSS Gym there will be a Parent informational Night for teen ON LINE safety. See attached flyer. Sargeant Doyle from the Maine State Police Computer Crimes unit will be the guest speaker. This is a great opportunity for parents to get the latest and best information about online dangers for teens. Students will be having an assembly the following day.

The PCSS E-Sports team hosted Husson University E-Sports Coordinator Andy Michaud and Husson Rocket League Captain Adrian Shoes at their practice last Friday as the Pirates continue with their spring schedule. The visitors from Husson provided feedback to the athletes during their practice and consulted with Coach Severance regarding further updates to the E-Sports gaming room to optimize the space.
Thank you to Coach Severance for arranging the visit and continuing to work hard on behalf of the PCSS E-Sports program.

This is Kelly MacFadyen, superintendent of MSAD #4. The district has changed the two workshop days scheduled for next Thursday and Friday the 16th and 17th of March to early release days for students. The purpose of this change is to make up for two snow days and thus, preventing students from having to attend school the 3rd week of June. Therefore, students will attend school on March 16th and 17th until dismissal at 11:30 am.
If you have any questions please contact your child’s building principal.

The next Project Graduation Meeting is this Thursday, March 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the library of PCHS. If you plan on going on the trip, please attend this important meeting.

One last reminder that sports physicals will be offered, free of charge, on 2/28 (Tuesday) for those 5th-12th graders in need. You should've received notification if your student is due to expire by the end of the Spring season. Please fill out a pre-physical questionnaire and have your student return it to the office first thing in the morning. If Mrs. Viera doesn't have a form, she won't know to call your student down. (I was unable to attach a form here, but email me wviera@sad4.org for one to be sent, or have your student pick up a form in the office.)

REMINDER: Sports physicals will be done at both schools on 2/28. We must have a pre-physical form filled out and signed by a parent if your child is to receive a physical. Have your student turn the form into the front office so Mrs. Viera knows to call him/ her down.

Due to incoming weather the PCSS Snow Academy is canceled Thursday 2/23 and Friday 2/24

Due to weather PCSS Snow Academy will be canceled for Friday 2/24.
