Middle School Basketball starts this week! Tryouts will be Monday and Tuesday for 6-8 graders who have signed up. The 5th Graders have signed up will join in on Wednesday at the B team practice. Tryouts/ practices will be at the PCES Gym.
High School soccer is still going! The boys head to Brewer Wednesday night to take on Katahdin @ 6pm for the Regional Final. Tickets can be bought here: https://gofan.co/event/4079497?schoolId=MPA
Please look around your homes for athletic uniforms that may have not been turned in from past seasons. We seem to be missing a few basketball uniforms in particular. You can drop them off at the office in either school.
Congrats to the boys soccer team on their 6-2 victory over Bucksport on in the 8 man north semifinals! They will face Katahdin on Wednesday 11/5 at 6pm at Brewer high school for the Regional Final.
Right now the weather looks like it will break for a few hours in the evening.
Please note, we have the trunk or treat at the high school from 4-6PM. If spectators could allow time for this event to clear out before arriving to the game, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you've been notified (by text or email) that your student's physical is expired or due to expire before the end of the season, he/she can have a free physical by our school physician on 10/29. registration forms are in each front office and must be returned by 10/24 to ensure a spot. This is a reminder that both the elementary and secondary schools will have an early release at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9.
There will be no school on Friday for a scheduled teacher workshop day, and no school on Monday, October 13 in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.
