Please be informed that the Special Ed Department will be using a few new tools to support communication with families, staff and the community supports for students.

Starting in the 2026-27 school year we will be accessing Ready Sign. Ready Sign is used to gather signatures for necessary Special Education Documents. Should you receive a notification via email requesting a signature from your district and Ready Sign please know this is not SPAM and we are indeed requesting your signature.

We will be accessing ZOOM for meeting vs accessing Google Meets which is what we have used in the past. When the Advance Written Notice is shared and a Google Calendar Invite is shared that ZOOM Link for the meeting will be part of the invite so the education team can access our meeting virtually should they need to. As always, in-person is an option but our new online option for those who choose to use it will be ZOOM.

Notifications of IEP and 504 meetings and how they are scheduled will remain the same.

MRS. VIERA will be out for the summer, along with the teachers. I will check email and texts/voicemail periodically, but NOT my office phone. If you have an important matter that can't wait until August, the office staff at either school will be able to relay a message to me, but understand that I may not respond immediately. Have a great summer with your child(ren). I look forward to seeing them all in August! -Mrs. V

Congratulations to Brady Gaw on being named one of the nine finalists for the 2026 Dr. John Winkin Award! This award recognizes the top senior baseball player in Maine and honors not only athletic ability, but also leadership, character, and dedication to the game. Being selected as one of just nine finalists is an incredible achievement, and we are proud to celebrate Brady and all he has accomplished both on and off the field.
