EXTRA-CURRICULAR 

EXPERIENCE DETERMINATION

15% applied to the base salary if the person is an employee of SAD #4 

AND 

10% applied to base salary if the person has 4 to 8 years of experience. 

OR 

25% applied to base salary if the person has 9 to 18 years of experience. 

OR 

35% applied to the base salary if the person has 19 or more years of experience. 

Credit for experience will be given from: non-varsity sport or activity to non-varsity 
Varsity to non-varsity 
Non-varsity within the system to varsity 

Outside credit for experience will be given upon recommendation of the Athletic Director and approval by the Principal.

PCHS EXTENDED SEASON

PCHS Interscholastic Athletic seasons are sometimes extended when teams or individuals qualify for sanctioned tournament or playoff activity beyond the regular season schedule. Extended season pay is figured upon the number of days from the start of the activity to the end, counting Saturdays. The pay will be figured per diem by approval from the Athletic Director in interscholastic athletics and by the Principal in co-curricular activities. Junior Varsity coaches will receive per diem pay for an extended Varsity season.

EXTRA CURRICULAR PAY DETERMINATION 

Each Interscholastic Athletic and co-curricular activity is given a factor rating based on time and responsibility as follows:

 Time (hours)  Points
 0 - 60 =  1 pt.
 61 - 140 =   2 pts.
 141 - 220 =    3 pts.
 221 - 300 =  4 pts.
 301 + =  5 pts.

An additional point is given if the activity involves school vacation time, extensive travel time, or other extra time.

Total possible points is 8.

 7. Direct Revenue Producing in Excess of $1,000.00  1 pt.
 8. Direct Revenue Producing in Excess of $10,000.00  1 pt.
 9. Business/Industry/Community Representation  1 pt.
 10. Full Year Commitment  1 pt.

Total possible responsibility points is 12.

Highest possible time/responsibility factor rating is 20.
